There's a reason the Dyson Airwrap has captured the hearts (and wallets) of beauty obsessives everywhere. Whether you’re looking to quickly blow dry your hair or add curls with minimal heat damage, the Airwrap is an innovation. But for $600, the Airwrap is also an investment not everyone can make. Luckily for us, there are several Dyson Airwrap dupes on the market that can achieve everything the Airwrap can, for a lot less.
TikTok is all about finding the best dupes, whether it's a near-perfect match for the viral Dior Lip Oil, or a low-cost alternative to the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter primer. But when it comes to Dyson Airwrap dupes, there's a lot to consider. And let me be clear: I own a Dyson, and like it a lot! For context, I have thick, curly hair that requires a decent amount of maintenance. I know people who swear by the Dyson, but personally, I’ve found alternative tools that work better for me. The newest iteration of the Airwrap comes with a new of new attachments: two curlers, two paddle brush attachments, a round brush, and a blow dryer nozzle. Personally, I found myself using only the round brush and the paddle brush since my go-to look is a voluminous blowout. But whether you want those perfect curls, or a sleek and straight look, here are 13 Dyson Airwrap dupes that are just as good, and less expensive, than the original.
One of the reasons users love the Dyson Airwrap is because of its auto-wrap curlers, among other attachments. The Shark Air Styler is the highest rated dupe on the market, in part because it comes with all the attachments–including curlers–for half the price of the Dyson. However, unlike the newest model of the Airwrap where the curlers can change airflow direction, this set comes with two curlers, so you can get the same look with slightly more effort.
Amazon rating: 4.3/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "I CAN DRY MY HAIR IN 30 MINUTES!!! This is a game changer compared to my previous $12 hair dryer. This makes the most beautiful curls, and if you use it the way you're instructed I’ve had my curls last for over 4 days! It's so easy to use and I was skeptical at first because it did look difficult but I figured it out first try. I LOVE THIS. I’m telling you right now, try this, you will fall in love with this!"
My personal favorite Dyson dupe is this Airebrush Duo from T3. If you mainly use the Airwrap for creating voluminous blowouts, this tool does the same thing quicker–and more effectively, if you have thick, curly hair. One of my favorite features is the size of the round brush barrel. While the Dyson has a smaller round brush attachment, this one is twice the size, making it quicker to style my thick hair.
Amazon rating: 4/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "I have super curly, super frizzy hair and it never fails. I straighten my hair and I still end up looking like a puff ball. This is the first dryer that actually worked and for multiple days!! Definitely worth it."
This tool may look intimidating, but once you get the hang of it—which doesn't take long–it's incredibly easy to use. If you’re looking for a similar curl effect that the Dyson curler barrels give, this tool essentially does the same thing, except it's designed to be used on dry hair. Feed the barrel a strand of your hair, and it will spin it around and curl it, without you needing to lift a finger.
Ulta rating: 4.6/5 stars
An Ulta reviewer says: "This has been the only reliable tool that curls my fine hair and keeps the curl for most of the day. I like how quickly it heats up and the design seems like it cuts down on the possibility of burns. it only takes me about 15 minutes to curl my mid-back length, fine hair."
Everyone and their mother is obsessed with this hot air brush because its large barrel makes drying and styling thick, long hair quick. Then, there's the price. Coming in at just under $40, you can mimic the blowout look the Dyson gives for a fraction of the price.
Amazon rating: 4.6/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "This has been a miracle for my curly, wavy, sometimes frizzy hair. If you have curls that frizz up, and if you dream of having smooth hair that swings, this is the tool for you. It's a salon blowout at home!"
Think of this tool like a round brush blowout without the arm workout. Simply wrap dry strands around the wand and glide it through to get that curled, blown-out style in just a few seconds. Because of the barrel size, you can get right up to the roots and create incredible volume.
Amazon rating: 4/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "It took me a while to get the hang of this hair tool but once I did, WOW! I section my hair and wrap my hair around the wand from the bottom up in the direction I want the curl to go. I hold for about 20 seconds and then gently unravel my hair. I also use the wand at my roots to add volume. This is for use on dry hair and it gives your hair a lot of bounce and the look of a professional blow out. I really like this ghd Rise and highly recommend it!"
Dyson is known for its ability to style hair without causing excessive heat damage. But if you’re looking for zero damage at all, this heatless curler set can mimic the curled Dyson look while you sleep. Just wrap your strands around the satin tube and head to bed. You’ll wake up with perfectly waved strands.
Amazon rating: 4.2/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "I’m so happy with this! It's now a part of my nightly routine. This product makes it easy, and the best part is that I can sleep with this on—I toss and turn and the scrunchies have never fallen off, and my curls haven't undone from the wire. Highly recommend!"
If you’re obsessed with achieving the perfect beachy ’do, this set of curling wands allows you to reach any and every look you want. With five different wands, you can get an even wider variety of curled styles than the Dyson can achieve.
Ulta rating: 4.9/5 stars
An Ulta reviewer says: "Love this! So glad I got it. Investing in good hair tools can be pricey but for a 5 in 1 it doesn't get better (or prettier)."
Hot rollers might sound old-fashioned, but there's a reason they were all the rage a few decades ago. Unlike most curling wands, these begin to cool down as you put them in your hair, meaning you get less heat damage on your hair. It does take time to get used to the process, but once you’ve perfected it, you’ll never go back to traditional methods.
Ulta rating: 4/5 stars
An Ulta reviewer says: "I like this set and I have no trouble using it!"
For blowout addicts, this 3-in-1 styler has similar attachments to the Airwrap. With a concentrated nozzle, a paddle brush attachment for straight lengths, and a round brush head for perfectly bouncy hair, you’ll neglect the Dyson once you have this in your kit.
Ulta rating: 4.5/5 stars
An Ulta reviewer says: "After using the Dyson AirWrap, I found myself only using the same three attachments that come in this Drybar set. I love how smooth these attachments leave my hair, the added fiber bristles grip the hair so much better than the Dyson attachments. Another thing that sold me was that this has the same settings as the Dyson: 3 heat, 3 speed, and a cold shot. I’ve also tried the single shot (which I enjoyed) but prefer this one as it has a concentrated air attachment great for getting my hair damp and ready to style with the other two attachments."
Similar to hot rollers, velcro rollers are great for setting and creating volume with minimal damage. Personally, I find the best way to use these is to quickly style your hair with a flat iron or curler, and then roll the strands into one of these. If you want your style to last, rollers are essential.
Amazon rating: 4.2/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "Let me tell you, these big soft curlers are PERFECT. I have tried everything and I mean EVERYTHING to get my hair to curl. I wanted something that would be gentle on my hair and non damaging but easy to sleep in. They are sooo comfy!"
If you find yourself only using a few of the Airwrap attachments, this set comes with the four you likely use the most. With a dryer nozzle, paddle brush, curler, and round brush attachment, you can get pretty much the same look as the Dyson for a third of the cost. Still not convinced? Read the review below for a full breakdown.

An Amazon reviewer says: "My mom has a Dyson and we compared them. They work about the same only difference is that this one is slightly louder than the Dyson. I love how it leaves my hair feeling, and it dries pretty quickly. Best part is when it dries it doesn't feel burning hot. It hold my curls pretty good! I was worried after day 2 old hair it would fall flat but they stayed in place. I suggest getting it, you save about $400 compared to a Dyson. I love mine so so much!"
Sometimes, simple is just better. This hot tool is both a flat iron and a curling iron in one, making it easy to achieve almost every style your heart desires without needing to swap out attachments or clear a shelf in your bathroom.
Amazon rating: 4.2/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "After trying a few other products, I ended up with this one. It was perfect for my little bit coarse and wavy hair to get right volume with curl after straightening. It doesn't tug, nor burn my hair."
Maximalists, gather ’round. If you truly want an all-in-one styler, for under $60, this set has all the attachments the Dyson has, plus more. With four different round barrel sizes, two straightening brushes, a blow dryer nozzle, a glove to protect your hands, and clips, you’ll never need another styler ever again.
Amazon rating: 3.9/5 stars
An Amazon reviewer says: "I’ve had this for two months, and it drys my thick long hair in 10-15 minutes. The extra attachments with it definitely make it even better! I was skeptical at first cause the price. I’m a real cheapskate but this is really worth every penny. Swear it to you! It's better than spending the $500 on the name brand one! That is for sure!"
