According to experts, in order to keep the hair in good condition, we should give some love and care to the hairbrushes, Telegrafi reports.

How often should you clean your hairbrush?

According to dermatological surgeon Sejaj Shah, hairbrushes should be cleaned regularly.

"Like all other beauty tools, hairbrushes get dirty with daily use, especially when you use styling products on your hair," she says.

But the hairbrush doesn't just collect the residue from the products you use on your hair – dust, dead blood cells and oil stay there too.

These things can serve as a home for bacteria and increase the risk of various infections.
