OHP: Talihina man dies in crash after police chase in LeFlore County

A 45-year-old man is dead after a police chase in LeFlore County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
According to the report, police started pursuing the man in Talihina city limits around 1 a.m. Sunday.
The report said the chase continued onto Williams Ave in LeFlore County.
OHP said the man was driving a 2001 GMC Sierra when he drove through a stop sign on Williams Ave and Highway 63.
The report said the man drove into a barbwire fence, and his truck fell for about 75 feet through "heavy brush" before it hit a large tree.
The man was pinned in the truck for about four hours before Talihina Fire was able to get him out.
He died from his injuries.
According to the report, the driver had "suspected impairment" and was not wearing a seatbelt.
OHP is still investigating.
The man's name has not been released.
